    I think it was a hawk that snatched a puppy from my backyard in Tennessee. That was a long time ago.
    Sunk the claws into that puppy and flew off with it.

    I have a tiny chihuahua, she’s 16 now but when she used to go out I would keep an eye. Our place backs up to railway tracks, some large hawks were usually around watching for rats and stuff. Didn’t want to lose her.
    Not much bigger than a rat the old dear
