I just rented a truck for 4 hours to practice with my permit then went for it. If you put your mind to OT it isn't as hard as most people seem to think. Just be willing to teach yourself and know a little about physics and weight transfer and you should be fine.

Now I am scared, this guy really thinks 4 hours is enough to teach himself to drive.

Well I taught myself enough to pass the test. After that I spent about a week teaching myself to drive with no trailer (covered about 1000 miles) then did it again with an empty trailer. At this point we have been operating our business for about 1 1/2 months so far it has been good. I do not claim to be on the same level with anyone that has more experience, however it just goes to show that if you want it bad enough you can get it.

What company hires and help you get your cdl and only drug test by urine?

I'm surprised all company's aren't doing it for free.dont they get like ten grand for training And finding you a job for the government
