    What's this "HAVE" stuff ?
    A 34 reset is an option.... not mandatory, and if you drive 8 hrs a day you will not run out of hours

    Correct, you never "have" to do a 34 restart. You can run off your recap.

    recap is the hours used off your 70 today, are added back to your 70 at midnight 8 days later. (Midnight being the end of day 7 and beginning of day 8)
