    I will be attending orientation for Interstate this Monday in Lebanon Tn. I fly out tomorrow and I will update my process with the company as much as possible.

    self dispatch are for both dry van and Reefer? I would hope reefer pays a bit more. But yesterday drove from Reno to SLC...all i can see was dry van attached to Interstate truck.

    Just check into the hotel, so far so good. I have a room by myself and it's pretty nice, I'll check back in tomorrow and give a update of my first day.

    Actually I'm not sure about reefer. I do see OO run reefer, but not sure about the board.

    I also haven't had a chance to talk to any reefer OO. I know some of the freight pays better, but I've heard of the reefer guys jumping to van. I can't tell you the reasons why.

    I specifically asked the recruiter, she said no plans of adding reefer to freedom board as of now.....

    think reefer more criticle/crutial ....... more dedicated run to driver. Prime is big in East coast with reefer, would be same deal as Interstate then...relying on dispatcher.
