lol no, i mainly do shorter loads. I fight my 14 more than my 11 and 70.
It's really not that difficult to gross $5000 on 2500 miles
100-150 mile loads pay $2.40-$5 a mile in some markets, just do two short loads a day and you're set.
Money to be made on percentage is running in a market with a lot of short loads, not driving your arse off

They will take money from you if you accept a load and do make it on time your you late, I think its up to $400 of what they will take from you.

Never had that happen been late before. U just let them know if your going to be late and you'll be fine

I've turned in a few loads one was my fault the rest was because of the shippers loads not being ready
