It won't happen consistently at Landstar. I had one $7200 week and one $6900 week in the year I spent there. My average was about $3700 a week, which isn't any more than I can do here and now I stay much closer to home. Hell, I was planning on working thru this weekend, the first since March, and I still got home early this morning.

I got my truck through Lone Mountain also. I never recommend a Quality lease, although I have a couple friends doing just fine with them. I just don't work as hard as them.

I would also never go back to Landstar. There are many companies today that are far beyond Landstar quality for companies and, at least for me, Interstate is one of them. Landstar used to be THE company to be leased to, but not today.

Landstar is now nothing more than a driver mill for the loads they can't broker out. You do know they are a large broker that makes more brokering loads out than having their BCO's pull them, right?

If you're going ISX, you definitely don't want an older one. Only one I'd run would be a 2013+ CM2350

Just so you understand, I didn't leave Landstar because I couldn't make it there. Financially was just fine. I got tired of cancelled loads and pos agents. I got tired of loads cancelling at the last minute and receiving no pay and no back up from the company that claimed to stick up for you. I got tired of having to find a load after that last minute cancellation. I made it all work, but I saw no reason to continue doing it at their convenience. I got tired of pos BCO's leaving broken trailers everywhere consistently. I can only hope these guys took better care of their trucks. Hell, here I can depend on their oldest trailer to be in decent shape MOST of the time. There it was a crap shoot unless you had your own.

Lol seem like the newer ones ain't any better from what I'm hearing. But hell these new engines are all questionable now with that def . I was suppose to go to lone mountain in a couple week but things got in the way of that I was aiming for 2012 cascadia. I want to get out this cure leasing truck next year
