I've practically lived on I5 for the past 6 months. And 9 times out of 10 I am loaded at over 40k. But that just seems to how it is on the west coast. Not a complaint, just the facts.
I'm averaging 7.6 mpg, but running up and down I5 keeps my speed down, usually cruising at 58mph.
Grossing $3k is easy for me, but I stay out for extended periods and have spent countless hours learning the freight lanes here. But Mick is right, it really depends on you, ie your desire and work ethic. No one here is going to hold your hand.
I am leaving Interstate at the end of the month. I came upon a great deal on a truck, 2006 Century, which isn't California legal and to make the revenue I want and not being able to run Cali means Interstate is no longer an option for me.
I have truly enjoyed working for this company, the self dispatch has been very good to me and I have nothing but great things to say about Interstate......Triumph 1 Thanks this. -
