And the good news is that they got the LEAD out! Think how much worse this would be back in the days of leaded gasoline!

I totally agree, and have made the same claims on the CB radio...

Breathing in diesel and gasoline fumes can't be good for your health...and that's all a driver does all day...then he/she parks at a truck stop, and inhales more diesel fumes...

Whenever I drive all day in a truck, and then sleep over night in sleeper...I always wake up feeling grogy...

At home, I can drink beer, and still wake up feeling more refreshed than after a day of inhaling diesel and gas fumes...

It's almost like a 'drugged' type of grogyness, which I have long suspected is a result of the highly polluted work enviornment...
Breathing in all those thousands of vehicle exhaust fumes daily...I suspect, has an accumilative effect on the brain...

I suspect it effects your bodies ability to absorb oxygen...kind of like how people die of carbon monixide poisoning while sleeping, but they first get sleepy and grogy, as the bodies ability to absorb oxygen is effected by the gas...

Same with driving all day around diesel pollutants...but the enviornment is ventilated enough where you don't die, but can still get grogy.

As a driver, there's not a whole lot you can do about it...hardly nothing at all...
If one drives, they will inhale auto and truck pollutants...there's no way around it...

Not only that...but inside of many trucks are laced with formaldehyde...or at least use to be...
