I agree with all of this. I've driven trucks that had seats that had a lip around the edge. Always made my feet cold. You don't want any "pressure spots" pressing into the back of your legs.JReding, TigerShark and Lepton1 Thank this.

In addition to the great advice already posted: "loose" footwear, keep your feet dry and keep your core (and your head) warm. Your feet will swell and sweat throughout the day, so the aforementioned slippers (or other snazzy footwear) will help keep good circulation in your feet. Too-tight footwear will also cause your feet to sweat, get your socks wet, and get cold.
At least every day (and sometimes more than once), regardless of whether I showered that day or not, I would wash my feet with hand sanitizer (alcohol), dry them and put on fresh socks. For driving I wear a flat-soled canvas slip-on; light, airy, easy-on, easy-off and I can flex my feet but still have good pedal manipulation.
Keeping your core and your head warm allows your body to circulate ample warm blood to your extremities. If you let your core get cold your body starts to cut back the circulation to your extremities because it can survive without those, but not without your core. Your body is smart... listen to it.TigerShark, Lepton1 and TequilaSunrise Thank this. -
I used to have Raynaud's syndrome pretty bad when I was younger (circulation problems in hands/feet). Now I use Cayenne Pepper capsules to help improve my circulation. They have other health benefits as well.

Dude, have a cousin who worked outdoors for years, he had never really thought about his feet, always said they were cold.
This past week he was getting out of the hospital, they amputated both feet because of the lack of circulation, which caused an infection set in on a open boil he ignored and it was something that could have been prevented if he would have gone to the docs. The docs said that they are still trying to fight the infection that has traveled up his right leg, and if it doesn't get better, he will lose a leg too.
So get to the docs.TigerShark and Lepton1 Thank this. -
I get cold feet but nothing that bad. I usually wear 2 pair of socks plus waterproof boots all winter. Driving I keep the heat set on floor and add defrost or dash as needed.

That's my first thought, diabetes.

First off. Are you a human or a human variant (cyborg)? If the latter, some of the older model 1's (original Terminator class) has this issue following the first cold spell of the season that is accompanied by higher humidity levels. A factory visit and some components getting replaced and their good as new.

I needed some new socks so looking around at Walmart found some socks that are real soft. The tag says they're for people with diabetes. Decided to try them since they looked so comfortable. Best socks I've ever worn; comfortable and warm when I'm outside in cold weather. These socks go just above the ankle, not to the knees.JReding, TigerShark, silver dollar and 1 other person Thank this.
