Freight broker courses are just one of a million different trucking scams. Always been that way. Nothing new here. That's trucking. You can clearly see it in the way they advertise promising the world and easy money. There's plenty of stories from people out there who have gone to them on what a scam they are. I've never met a successful freight broker who admitted to going thru one of these freight broker courses. Freight brokering isn't rocket science and it's not difficult to get in to. I could get a job tomorrow morning as an agent. Dive right in and just as likely to make it as anyone burning money on freight broker schooling.

They should pay whatever it takes low or high. What does that have to do with brokering school being a waste of time and money?

Lol seriously dude the day you physically can't drive anymore... if you want a job you've got one. I'll put you on the phone for 20% of the profit on covered loads so fast... But so will wichris I'm guessing.

I'm not interested. It takes a people person to do sales and I don't care for it.

There's no money in that. 20% of a 15% margin? And I would spend my life talking on a phone and I absolutely hate that. The quicker I can cover myself in my truck with the least amount of time wasted talking about it, the better. When I cover my truck for a day or two, aside from a few check calls, that's it - no more discussion.

As an agent if I cover a load then there's another one to cover, and another, and another, and another. They will never end. I don't care for that. And also its the kind of work that you just can't leave at work. It'll eat at you when you go home. You'll have unpleasant surprises the next day. And so on...

You're not wrong. It's not as easy a game as most drivers would have us all believe.
