In your case, you bring a different opportunity to the factoring marketplace, and Corporate Billing may be a better fit for you. Not in trucking, but yes, I have had signed agreements with customers in the past. And yes, they were starting to push envelopes out to 55-60 days.

I DID put those terms on their invoice and suddenly, I had a check the next day (3-days).

I am curious if anyone has done this in trucking. It's pretty much stating YOUR terms on what you want to pay. If you have to, send it in with your carrier packet. I don't care. It's business. Have you attempted it?

I was offering a quickpay discount of 2% if payment was postmarked within 7 days of the invoice date. I had several brokers take advantage of it, one of them took it even though they mailed their check 11 days after the invoice date. lol. maybe wording is important if you want them to use it. right below the amount due I put the quickpay amount due in red ink with two asteriks and then put the quickpay terms by two asteriks at the bottom.
