    Because they are scam artists. They pay for a while to build up a little reputation and then they start slow paying and no paying to stock pile the cash. Then they quickly disappear with all the money. They then open a new brokerage under a new name the next day. There are no laws in place to keep these criminals from opening new brokerages once they go out of business. That is why I do not haul for brokers who have not been in business at least two years.

    it is possible to collect from the shipper too under the law. Send them a demand for payment.
