That's a new one on me. I know they have gone through a few upgrades since I installed it, maybe new "members" are required to jump through hoops to see anything. Might be worth contacting their support to see what the problem is.

Don't know about vans but if the rates are like flats when I ran out there it was always hit or miss in Texas one week could be good the next week in the toilet.I always made sure I got good rates going to Texas for that reason or I wouldn't go.

I really can't say I always tried to run back to the south east.Im not sure of what kind of miles is going to be involved in that rate. But with a step I tried to get 2 a mile out like I said sometimes i could but the next week they only wanted to pay a 1 mile Texas is a state that I never really could get a hold on it seems to me the rates changed so drastically from week to week. You really need to know what you need on a mileage bases to make a profit.

I never had any luck with a dry van out of Texas. Usually when I go there it's Dallas area. I hear it gets hot sometimes but I've never been there when it was. Typical outbound van rates seem to be in the $1.30 a mile range on 600-800 mile runs. Nobody ever wants to pay $3 a mile going down there from TN which would be scraping the bottom of the barrel imo anyway. Most of the freight going to TX from around me moves down there for $2.20+/- a mile on 600-800 miles. If that sounds good to you knock yourself out. I think it's a,waste of time and a lousy market. It's just too far away and too many dummies want to go there for whatever reason.

BoyWander, joseph1853 and Pepper24 Thank this.

It's the same as California and Florida and Arizona. All the reefers want to go there on a hope and a prayer to get a high paying load of produce back out of there. For whatever reason, guys seem to like driving the maximum amount of miles to make any money. They can have at it. I have noticed the farther away I am from California, the higher the rates are and the more random calls I get looking for reefers in California. The closer I get, the more rates are driven down. So I figure I will do everyone a favor and rarely go there anymore. It is too much of a crap shoot for these markets unless you have something that steadily pays well going there. If not? Stay off the edges of the country...
