All you guys who are struggling to make it should just lease onto to @Dave_in_AZ. He's obviously figured it out over that at Lanstar and is building himself a "fleet" now.
whoopNride and DUNE-T Thank this. -
Is he a register Agent or for landstar or O/O. As an outside carrier i work landstar boards im not impressed. I a reefer driver. But in fairness i pull some Ice Cream last yr for them got 4.50mi cpl times . They were pressed to cover the loadDave_in_AZ Thanks this.
-
Jack links load 4.50 on this load only 340mi but it works . At the end of the day if its on the board nobody wants it usually
Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -
What model number is that wrench you have? Thanking about getting me one.
-
BCO. I don't smoke reefer though.whoopNride and gokiddogo Thank this.
-
Only can take 1 more right now.Scooter Jones and JonJon78 Thank this.

How do you book yourself out so far? For me the most I'll go is 1 week booked out... Flatbed here. If a load cancels that obviously messes everything up and becomes a headache IMO scrambling trying to find something to fill in for it.whoopNride and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

It happens.
Van. We have so much van. I've stayed out for 2 weeks longer than I wanted.
And the way the loads fell together for S, I was going dang that's a truckload of money.
So I'm taking like a day off, well it's two days at the house, first day is deliveries, second day is meet wrench at 0500 for full PM, DH to SoCal for load back east.
Cause we're both set up on the same runs in the middle of the month, and they are definitely extra base hits, followed by homeruns. I'll be 1 day behind him.
I was going to relax a bit, but I was going man that's a lot of money lol.
When I get back the first week in January I'm out for a few weeks.
As to more on your original question, everyone complains about company van.
All evil right?
Except there's A LOT of it pre loaded, and very predictable.
And I'm not even gonna make an argument.
My best advice to everyone is go to Schneider. -
The load Casper died on. I was rolling through the gate at 66 refinery up there near @gokiddogo neck of the woods, and my warning / stop lights came on lol.
Told them sorry, called agent, was there a day early, was a short haul back to Portland, I delivered in Marysville day before.
Would have netted $500.
After I got out of shop, I was so exhausted from lack of sleep, and keeping after that old bag, to push my truck through, I didn't even take anything to get back down here. And there were two available could have netted about $500 on.
But too risky. I was wiped out. Slept like rhinoceros. Cats slept like rhinoceros's too.
So now pick up in a bit, back on my merry way, everyone is rested and in good spirits now as well.
I could run 20 trucks like falling off a log.gokiddogo Thanks this.
