Freight slow down?

Because i dont pull their loads. They let me find my own freight. It works for me because i get fuel discounts safety bonuses every qtr based on miles i drive . I run my own registration they reimburse me for that . .40c discount of fuel, tire discounts, no trailer rental , discount shop rates and parts, discount tolls, the perks add up. My avg fuel price 2.66gal im burning .46mi in fuel . Loaded miles im avg 4.18mi or 3.22 on loaded and empty. My profit margin would be way less under my own authority . There are some good things with this company atleast they let you book your own . Even lease operators doing a lease can book there own thats unheard of in trucking mostly. There are some Qtrs i book 45000 some i book 90,000 . This month 10 days in i got 13000 already. Thats why im here. My point is if you depend on our dispatchers to book for you not good. You depend on yourself you do very well with all the perks

 

Its contract season for brokers and carriers they are gonna cut rates as much as possible to get new contracts brokers are competing with each other by cutting the drivers throat on rates . Dont pull it use it to your advantage. We all need to stick together this time of year cards are in our favor for those who get it.
