my flatbed plate ran out in june the new sticker is still on my desk been running vans hopefully salt will start running with the bad weather and keep me buisy

 

I learned a long time ago that in any business cash flow and profit are 2 different things. You can kill a business in a long, slow, agonizing way by cutting rates below your operating cost and living off the cash flow.That's what a lot of guys are in process of doing right now. I unknowingly did it to myself 10 years ago. Eventually the supply - demand will come back into balance and profits will return. BTW, on the internet truckstop site there is a digital magazine that has a chart in each issue that addresses this very thing. It is written by an economist and not some guy. I've been watching it since it's inception about 2 years ago and the projections made are pretty right on. Their current projections are early spring is when freight will pick up.
