Freightbuggy's is owned by Daimler? The same people that raped and cast aside Chrysler?
That might be your reason!

I wouldn't own one of those plastic throw away fleet dogs on a bet! Years ago I owned a couple of Junkliner cabovers (back in the mid seventies) They were pretty good trucks overall but when I bought my first KW I never looked back.
Somewhere along the way Junkliner quit catering to O/O's and started building throw away junk for giant fleets! They don't care about you if you're not Swift, England or one of the other bottom feeder fleets. -
Yup, like I said Thank God we did not buy this truck.
We do work for a great family orientated company, so their pain is our pain. Obviously a company that is not what you list.
Our other truck was a Kenworth test truck T-8 with test motor--all I can say about that. 338,000 + miles in approx. 1-1/2 years.
Cute though, you call them junkliners-we call ours frauliner. -
Actually you probably don't realize how lucky you are. We had, after many, many miles in a different make of truck, (not Freightliner), the rear end blow at 38,000 miles. You sound as if you know the area well, but it all started with applying acceleration up the ramp from 30 E to I71 north by Mansfield Ohio. The truck was dead in the water 10 miles up the road. Sounded like you were driving on grooved pavement on and off-then a canon boom. It went that quick--however--our company did win that argurement--150 similar incidents at that time.

Eye opening thread here......
That confirms my suspicions about Freightliners.....
I'll stick with PACCAR...thank you very much.......
broncrider Thanks this. -
####, you guessed it!!!
-
And do you think that the manager of that Freightliner would even have the common courtesy to call and apologize for all of the inconvenience that they have caused me? I am still waiting for that call. And I probably always will be. I guess even that is asking too much.
-
All I know, is that hubby will leave in who knows what truck tomorrow. Nope, I am not going. Enough is enough!!! We all know, it takes miles to figure out the quirks in the replacement truck!!! I am just done!!!!
-
Yep, typical junk Freightliners. Those trucks honestly make me sick to look at or even drive one block. Ever since I was born, it's been all Peterbilt or Kenworth for me, and it always will be, PACCAR all the way!!
My Kenworth has gone through some rough times, and she's held up like a champ, has not let me down once yet, just about 1,100,000 KM on the clock now! Knock on wood, I shouldn't have said anything haha. -
doesn't even make much sense.
Detroit Diesel, owned by Diamler
Freightliner, owned by Daimler
Daimler should pay the thing and get their truck running.
ridiculous.
