These new trucks that use the antenna for the AM/FM radio and the CB radio seem to be a real headache. The easiest solution seems to be mount your own separate dedicated CB antenna and run your own coax from that antenna to your radio. It may be ugly looking or not depending on how talented you are; but, it is a simple solution to the problem.

KISS= keep it simple stupid .... is an old saying but it is the best way to go.
Run a new coax cable for only the cb. Make sure you have good grounds. Some grounding point on trucks flex with road movement, so flexable grounding straps may be needed at a few key points from body the frame. A stright ground from the battery will save you a lot of headakes down the road.rollingradios Thanks this. -
