    What it could be ? The last update on my truck was installation of WEBASTO Engine coolant heater, just couple days ago. I don't know if that kind of work affected ICUC. My question is if I should look for help at truck repair shop ASP, in an order to avoid possible breakdown, or I can wait until I finish this trip? Thank You

    In the New Cascadia troubleshooting manual it shows that SPN 523002 FMI 31 is ICU (SA23) telling you that EEPROM checksum Fault-Condition exists. FYI "Instrumentation Control Unit =ICU"
    Possible causes is Internal hardware failure.
    Trouble shooting steps are short. Program the ICU with the "Newest" software available on server, if available. Otherwise, program the ICU with the "latest" settings or the "Factory" settings.
    If the programming was successful and SPN 523002 FMI 31 in now inactive nor further action is necessary. If "No" then replace the ICU.
