I love my Freight-Shaker! 2022 Cascadia Yea I said it! I know it's no long-nose but she's mine! And I'm stuck with her!
She looks great and has everything I need!
But I have GOT to do something about making her ride waaaay smoother than she does. It's like strapping your butt to a brick and getting thrown down the highway!
I know just replacing all 6 shocks will be somewhat of an improvement. I did replace the 2 cabs shocks with Gabriel Fleet Line. Noticed a difference.
But would love to get advice and/or pointed in the right direction. Cause the feedback from the way she rides is getting to the point where it's killing something I absolutely love doing...trucking!

A 22 and it is already beating you to death? Dang. Does it need new shocks and air bags? That would be where I would start.

Oh and stay off of Texas roads.

Yea I believe they "supposedly" set it when it was in the company's shop. But that's when I was company driver. They did put shims in so they had to adjust it somewhat.
There isn't a set way of measuring is there? (like a trick to it)
Thinking on my next trip home is having dealer take a look at it.

I'm pretty sure with her sitting on 302k miles the shocks are beyond ready.

If the 5th Wheel is movable, move it so the king pin is at the mid-point between front and rear drive axle or further to the rear. If you put the kingpin in front of that mid-point you will notice that every time you hit a pothole you not only feel the up and down motion but also something like a slap to the back of the head, a front and backward motion.

Mines stationary but sits about 4/5 inches forward of the mid point between drive axles.
So you think I should reposition it to the middle....

And I would think that the farther back it sits it would lighten/lift the front-end?......no?....

Not gonna lie, I love Texas runs! Indiana is far worse in my opinion
