I have a Freightliner Columbia 2007 , my water temperature gauge was getting stock and not moving , I replace temp sensor but still no fix,
I bought a new instrument cluster from Freightliner dealer ,temperature gauge works perfectly but now my turn signal lights won’t work , I replace the turn signal switch and still not working , I decided to re-install the original instrument cluster, and to my surprise turn signal light works fine.
Any idea on what could be causing this issue
A bad ground should have the turn signal light not working on both instrument cluster right?

An educated guess says that the new instrument cluster could be defective if it works with the old one.
Check the new cluster for any bent electrical pins where it plugs in to the truck harness.

My 05 Columbia did the same thing today after I replaced brand new cluster turn out it was the front turn signal bulbs in the head light housing were LED not drawing enough power replaced with halogen 3157 bulbs and works like a charm now
