freightliner columbia keeps burning power distribution module

    2007 freightliner columbia keeps burning power distribution module. what can be the cause, have replaced 3 already, will burn it with key in off position , truck parked. the 50 amps fuse under dash passenger side burned too, replaced it. checked for short, and didn't find any. any suggestions what can cause it to burn and where I should look?

    Best guess is a leak with water intrusion somewhere.

    If you are talking about the auxillary PDM that is located in the driver side "b" pillar, then the cause is a water leak around the upper bunk window that leaks straight down into the top of the PDM. When you unplug the top 2 connectors you will see corrosion. Fix leak or put plastic bag around new PDM so that water cannot get inside.

    I did found a water leak on wires and from the frame of the top window from sleeper, will try to seal it and hope it does the trick
