I will be tracking my mileage to see how this works out.

So long as I don't have a bunch of local drivers using it when it's in the shop.

"3 seconds and goes back off".

Mine had this problem and it turned out part of the wiring harness was incorrect and was not charging the ParkSmart batteries.
