I have a 2015 Freightliner Casacadia that was a good riding/pulling truck that now has a gremlin somewhere in the wiring, my mechanic can’t seem to pin it down and the truck has just been sitting. Just wondering if any of you had a good guesstimate of its value as is.

Good running motor with its share of miles, transmission is a good shifting one. Just frustrated with it sitting

Without any other info, $10,000 at best. The salvage yard I deal with bought a few of them for $5k last month.

The worst and most costly repair that has to be done on these trucks are electrical repairs because most "mechanics" are stupid parts changers and tend to screw it up more.

you are about right, electrical issues can be such a pain. He thought he’s had fixed a couple times then a shimmy or a shake happens and it goes crazy again.

you kinda end up painted in a corner, you don’t want to spend the cost of another truck on chasing the repair and it does no good collecting dust.

truck is in great shape to have 800k on it

Well, you could get more but be honest about the problems and make sure you have all the records if you want to get more. Remember these are tools and tools depreciate.
