Just curious to hear from someone who has driven both the Kenworth T680 and the Cascadia not the newest version but the outgoing cascadia. So you drivers like one better than the other in terms of handling ride comfort/ amenities etc. Or are they pretty much the same.

Comparing a Kenworth to a Freightliner- hmmm.

I like the KW series trucks across many years. The T2000 represented for us a palace with power and grace.
Now that I got the BS out of the way the 680 is a working truck, nothing special about it really. If you want Class try the W900 series.
Freightliner bends over backwards so much every few years redrawing something that was #### good for what they built decades ago and keep screwing up. Thus crapcadia to me. (No offense to those who do run them... it's just that my taste stopped with the 120's and centuries.)
They used to build day cabs with long noses and #####ing power with transmissions to match. Those days are gone forever. You should try one of those at least one time in your life.Steel Dragon, Highway Sailor and 201 Thank this. -
I've had experience with paccar. No thank you.

Peterbilt and Kenworth are like apples and oranges.

I haven't been in the T680, but I think the Cascadia is one of the worst designed Freightliner's ergonomically. The dash display is blocked by the steering wheel, the rocker switches are blocked by the cups in the cup holders. The windshield leaks in the center, the hood latches are junk, the cb mount sucks, the a/c vents are blocked by the top of the steering wheel, some of the other rocker switches are blocked by the steering column, it has no external visor to block the sun. That's just a start.

The 680 was a bit of a shaker compared to the T2000. I remember taking one to texas as a subsitute shop queen. Those plates on the old 30 prior to construction hurt my back a little bit but in those days a little shaking was normal to me.
Steel Dragon Thanks this. -
I miss the leg room I had in the FL and the turning radius other wise Ill keep my 680
Steel Dragon and x1Heavy Thank this. -
KW great for comfort. If you're o/o cascadia for cheap and reliable.
