Depened on the individual truck. One was built the week before Christmas 1997 and I swore it had every left over part from the bottom of the bins thrown in it.
It went back into the shop twice before I even got it on the road. Then after only 35,000 miles they had to put a whole new engine in it. Pretty much for three years every month when I went home I left it at the dealers. Other than the engine though, it was always pidley stuff. Nothing that stranded me. And they never even charged me ten cents.
Others just standard truck stuff, wiper motor that quit after four months. Bolt fell out of exhaust manifold.
Current truck was in three times for DEF pump in first year, it has gone over a year now without that problem. Oil leaks where injector lines went into Detroit motor head were done at 18 months.
