    Great ?

    ### is the greatest commodity. Get a load of ###, and you're sure to do well.

I used to live within a 30 mile radius of every shipper of baled trash in suffolk county NY. Never once loaded it. Plenty that do though.

I'm starting to see loads pop up that are refusing to load, "stinky trash trailers". I got a good laugh at that one. They're like the port roaches of the interstate transportation world.

What is the reason behind baling trash? More trucks available since flatbed is now included? Or are they shipping further?

Not really sure, they been doing out there for years. I guess in reality you may be able to get more tonnage off the tipping floor then loading walking floors in bulk. They been loading flats and vans off the island for decades. Some guys that used to do it had nice rides. I noticed the guys with big rides didn’t last long doing it. Some still keep there stuff ok, and some of the same guys that been doing it since I was a teenager are still doing it. Im 34 now

sad thing is people love them. I tried hauling pallet racking for a guy once. I told what my rate would be from VA to Long Island. He proceds to tell me about this other guy that does it for less cause he takes a load down. That load was baled trashed. I proceeded to tell him I don’t haul baled trash and to keep using him. I think I did 1 load for him at my rate which wasn’t even that great looking back. Never heard from him again.
