It's a really tough CDL job market out there right now.

Especially for new drivers with no previous experience.

There are tanker jobs fairly near your location.

But (to the best of my knowledge) -- they all want previous experience elsewhere.

The fuel haulers in your area will want previous fuel experience.

Your best move right now is either:

• Keep tabs on Schneider in Atlanta, for possible tanker opportunities & training (even for rookies). -- OR --
• Get at least a year of experience pulling other freight; then look for tanker opportunities after you get other experience (that's what I did).

What carriers (if any) paid your class a visit while you were in that CDL school?

Given how bad the CDL job market is -- one of those carriers (if any) may well be your best place to start...to get some experience.
