Fresh Fish....

I'm here because you have to go through some jobs to find out what you are really good at doing, for me it’s always been driving a truck. Driven enough class B vehicles for a while but with little money earned. I also have a tremendous respect for truckers and this forum will help like it has helped you in other ways. I hope I can contribute my new experience good or bad to help give insight to this respected occupation on a driver’s point of view to others. Starting my career as a truck driver, Had my CDL for six yrs, and now really thinking about doing it for real and it’s a very realizing experience for me being out there loll. Graduated from CDL School and because of my little exp with no OTR time, I found it very difficult to get a regional position where I could get home every weekend. (Don’t laugh!) Schneider is taking me on but cannot guarantee home time every weekend they will try but from what I have been reading about dispatcher’s I doubt it but will be home after 2 weeks being out I hope. $460 a week after training then I will get .28c a mile. Gees! 28 cents that is low but I understand I have to start somewhere. I have till Thursday to get back with them if I want the job for them to schedule me for training I'm really thinking if I should go with this Company any feedback is much appreciated and will keep you posted on my progress..
