I worked for David not Don Freymiller since he has been back up and running in 1997. David is a fair and honest person. He will loan you money if you need it and he will do right by you when it is his fault. They worked on our truck and it came apart and David footed the bill since it was his shop who initially worked on it. Now Don on the other hand is the most dishonest person around. But his son is nothing like him.

We worked for David :biggrin_2554:& the honesty part you refer to, I can tell you is BS..unless your doing favors on the side, David isnt going to give you the time of day..why should he? when he can get all the foreign drivers here cheaper..
he lied & said we trashed the truck we emptied when we went to another company...that dang truck was detailed..did he get a red cent out of us? nope! he would have had to trash a perfectly good truck to prove a point!

if you want to be a company driver for David & run half way decent for a month or two..... then go for it! but expect your loads they usually plan you on so well, to go to the next batch of newbies.., usually about the time your loads come to a screeching halt is because you become wise to the games they play..therefore your a threat & a headache! NEXT!

Freymillers a Joke:jerk: & the day we left was the release of the albatross around our necks!

Yet another reason why I'm glad I never did the lease-purchase thing.

Don Freymiller ran a clean operation in Bakersfield Ca, bad drivers cost him too much money, they took his company for granited and it cost him his business.

While I certainly don't entirely disagree with these statements... I cannot help to wonder why people don't put more blame on the actual irresponsible lenders that lone people credit/money that don't have the resourses to repay the debt??? Folks, these are the same people(the lenders) that have been giving themselves HUGE monetary bonuses without regard to the economy in this country. (IMO, a form of economic terrorism)

Wanna point fingers and blame? Certainly a boatload of the blame should befall the irresponsible lenders. After all, these people wouldn't/couldn't default on credit/loans if stupid lenders wouldn't allow them to over-extend themselves in the first place...

Man will you take that MSNBC Kool-Aid drip out of your arm? And get informed. The community redevelopment act is why anyone who could open a door to the bank could get a loan. Your peeps (libs) in congress threatened Banks to loan to anyone or face draconian measures to force them to. Fannie and Freddie did not start out of a garage they where initiated by the feds.

Now that the banks are being frugally responsible these same morons are whining that they are not lending enough money to help the economy. Why should they? so they can get blame for the next meltdown.

Irresponsible lender? They can't make you a loan if you do not apply and sign your name to the documents. Sorry but not everyone can afford a house or a car or a truck or a business. And it is the individuals responsibility to make sure they can afford it.

You make no sense. Your writing is very hard to understand. You post here, if I am reading right from your poor penmanship, people just need to stay out of everyone's business. You state this because some one made a statement that you shouldn't be leasing or owning if you have bad credit, can't pay your bills, etc. He is right. Sorry to disappoint you, but he is completely right.

What I don't understand is if you want people to mind your own business, then why type all you did in a public forum for hundreds of people to read? Now I see why you fell for the "Lease" scam...

I do hope you got hired on someplace else and you are happy. You control your own destiny and fate. If you're not happy, find happiness. Then after you find happiness, find joy to enjoy that happiness. Good luck.

First and foremost, there's not a trucking company out there that does the "lease/owner" gig that isn't their own lease company. So the whole bunch of hooey about predatory lenders doesn't work in this scenario. Banks and mortgage companies have nothing to do with these company leases...it's all about the company leasing the trucks, then subletting the leases as a tax deferment.

I'd like to hear some more on this company from a company driver perspective..since I'd never do the lease thing again - ever. Any company driver experiences that aren't just a bunch of ranting because you couldn't figure out a logbook or automatically thought everyone was out to get you?
