I finally decided on a company. Before I get into anything, I want to give thanks to Chinatown. I probably never would’ve found Freymiller without him.
Here’s the breakdown.
I put in my application, called recruiting and after consideration and research I decided to come on board with Freymiller. My recruiter was great. I have zero complaints so far. Currently, I’m sitting at the hotel in Oklahoma City. The hotel itself isn’t great, but not bad enough to complain about, if they had a better hotel, I’d have no complaints. I got a rental car from Florida to OKC, which was a very nice car, I actually didn’t want to turn it back in lol. I think they’ll fly you to OKC but due to covid, I had to drive, the company paid for gas via EFS. They have kept their word on exactly everything so far. My understanding is tomorrow morning I will go to get a dot physical and drug screening (urine and mouth swab) and then be taken to the terminal to begin orientation. Orientation runs Tuesday-Friday. I don’t know how many hours a day just yet. I’m doing a refresher program so I’ll be with a trainer 4-6 weeks depending on my skills. After training I will then take a road test to get my own assigned truck. I’ll have more details to post after orientation begins tomorrow, however I just wanted to start the thread and state the facts of everything they have promised so far they have kept their word. I think this is going to be a top notch company. I will post more tomorrow
Thanks.
Freymiller!

Well good luck to you sir, I think that you are going to need it. I looked at their website and they had a big list of benefits. Unfortunately, like most junk OTR companies, you won't find out what those benefits cost you until you get there. Please keep us informed.
