How long did it take for you to get matched and start date? Are you nonsmoker?

He's been thru a lot , and to continue on thru thick and thin , says a lot.
I used to run with those drivers out of Worthington to the west coast when I was a O/O at Schanno , never heard.a cross word about Don or his crew.
    Great Story Thanks!

I requested a certain trainer because I already knew him, so It only took me like a week. Lol

I live near Pensacola. In time, they actually found me a non-smoking trainer in an automatic. I had already accepted with Melton when she called me. Had I known Melton would string me along for almost two months, then disinvite me the week before orientation, I would have jumped on with Freymiller.

I wonder what changed in six weeks. Might have been the shutdown.

That’s all I know about Freymiller.

Couldve been because freight is slow due to covid and I would assume some trainers are accepting students because of it. I don’t know.

There are two sides to every story, good and bad. Just saying.

I decided to go back to doing home repair and remodeling. I believe I can make $1500-2000 a week finding my own jobs based on what I’ve made recently. I also have a contractor friend who will pay me $40/hr to do carpentry for him if I’ve got nothing else to do. He’s urging me to hang up my tool belt and become an estimator for him working on commission.

I haven’t even contacted the realtors I know yet because I’m afraid I’ll be completely buried. :)

So, I wasted $5000 on a CDL, but maybe the gov’munt will send out another round of checks. Then I’d be pretty even I guess.

    FloridaBoy93 and Lonesome Thank this.

CDL is never a waste. Stuff will still need to be moved long after cabinets crumble.

Not saying ya can't make decent coin in a truck but for me I've had to give up a lot for the coin. So i do it cuz i still enjoy it. Good luck to ya.
