Because a large portion of their fleet are either Lease Purchase or team training trucks. Their business model is based on a revolving door of newbies who don't understand they're getting screwed. I wouldn't call them a 'bad company', mainly because while their drivers may not be anything more than steering wheel holders, they don't seem to tear stuff up the way England, CRST, and Amazon do. It just seems to be hard to make an honest living there as a company driver.

 

My understanding was that Prime has a 62mph governor at cruise with 65mph at the pedal.

 

I also heard the insect rights group are suing for wrongful death, on account of all the bugs crashing and dying hitting the mirror glass as they were flying faster than the truck.
