All the places that I’ve ever worked at in my 68 years on this rock, no one ever bought me a house or put me up in an apartment in order to work as an employee. Maybe I’ve done it wrong all these years.
nextgentrucker, 4mer trucker, 88 Alpha and 3 others Thank this. -
Being in the industry for 30+ years I can honestly say that trucking has bought me 3 houses, more cars than I can count, paid for my daughter's birth, and paid her college tuition. So, it wasn't all bad.nextgentrucker, JohnBoy and Lonesome Thank this.

JB, maybe you didn't ask the right people.....
-
Well.....they don't unload themselves. Yeah, all deliveries are tight, with no chance of escape. You are there for the duration.austinmike Thanks this.

Some have never heard of "Relocation bonuses".
-
"Relocation bonus" and "Buying me a house" usually aren't one in the same. Plus this guy just got his license, highly doubt Frito Lay is going to pay him either one.nextgentrucker and JohnBoy Thank this.
