ok Update! I don't know about you but I feel Fortunate to work for a company that I make over 70k year and have a couple days off a week. Drive a daycab and sleep in motels. There is part of me that misses living out there but just a small part. I do respect the drivers that do that because I know it aint easy and can be a real grind. For those about to Drive we salute YOU.

Oh things were going great till we started having paycheck problems. He has been getting his miles 2800 +. Just did a run to Tx now headed to Oh. Then last week's paycheck preliminary came in. OMG what a screwed up mess. Pretty bad when a company can't run there own computers. He sent correct data they are claiming they never got it. WTF. He got Confirmation numbers. Doesn't office people know there job or are they to lazy. Maybe going home early is more important than paying drivers correctly.

Funny thing is they can't even get him back on People net right.

He got his truck fixed finally the right way. Even put in new headlamp and bezels. He has been happy till this Major mix up.

Turns out this is there problem as hubby sent in paperwork on their own computer from the break room. Person he is dealing with comments "yea I know it doesn't work half the time". Then why don't they Fix the dam thing. Common people really need to get with it and clean up and run straight. They have so much potential to make good money. Unfortunately upper management is next to worthless it seems for getting things to run right or smoothly. What a shame.

It's best to use the phone app. Haven't had a mixup since. And never use the scanner in the break room

It's all straighten out which is good. I realized after typing this and talking with hubby that they did catch it before he did since they called him on it. He has phone app and uses it but even that set was lost too.

Funny thing is they could by pass all of this if they used PeoppleNet, the right way. At OD they had all logs taken from there. Driver never had to mess with all this mess because it was Computer logs. They need to switch over to keep there payroll right. Nothing worse than pissed off drivers because they didn't get paid right.

When things go smooth all is good. But when you have a hickup watch out. Another repair and this one could have been very deadly. Hole in exhaust under the hood. Yes, it was bad enough hubby was getting sick. It was an easy fix but he had to stop and demand it. There is no way he could have made it too the shop.

Today is Good Friday and all is good. He finished out his loads for week to the tune of 2300 miles. He is now on way home to have Easter Sunday here. So day and half off. Back out Monday for two deliveries. One in state and one out of state.

Bills paid for this month but it was not as easy as I would have liked. Taxes are now to be turned in and I dread it. One thing I don't like is this quarterly tax pay thing. I have enough problems just handling car insurance when it comes up which is also next month. Hopefully we won't have to pay much out for I don't have it. This will probably be our last year getting a refund. Another down side to owning your own.
