Headed for Houston this morning with my trainee, Fred. He's an awesome guy. Good 'ol country boy. Drove from 1979-1984, then worked in masonary field. But he's back.
Doing a real good job driving and catching on to the "new trucking" laws and practices. So far we've been through a bunch of mountains and big towns, and he is not afraid to drive, back up, or keep the conversation alive. Lol.
Hope everyone is well and getting good loads. Wishing JB would remember that I called.... hehehehe

Currently in Miami. Things have been going good over the past few weeks. The only bad thing thats happened is i did a load from California to near Toronto, Canada 2455 miles I didn't get paid for. So happen i was at the yard and went in and talked to payroll they were going to put it on the card I asked just to make sure on next check so this Thursday will see. So for anyone that happens to del a load in Canada payroll says to call on phone after you s an paperwork to make sure you get paid that trip. Something about computer program doesn't get the Canada trips.

If you notice when at the Richmond yard the shop has improved compared to 6 months ago. Would like to thank Joe and bis crew. Don't get me wrong i still get frustrated at times but am happy to say i see improvements. Hopefully it will continue. Nite all please be safe and just a suggestion have you turned on your bunk heater to make sure it works. You'll need it in a few weeks.
