They aren't making a very good first impression. Yesterday was wasted, and today appears to be heading the same way. Maybe after the holidays, they will get things straightened out.

Just curious. How did Con-way Truckload fair to you in your research when you chose to leave Swift?

They were up close to the top, but not at the top. They would have paid me 36 cpm which is a little low (I was at 38 with Swift, Glen Moore paid me 43) and I'm not crazy about going to Canada. Not a bad company at all, but not my first choice, either.

They got me moving first thing Monday. I am Southeast regional, let's just say I am not in the southeast. I called they said they knew and they would head me back as soon as I deliver this morning......We will see. The insurance is horrible and expensive...yikes! I do have more mileage on a Wednesday morning then I did with GM. GM had gone from bad to worse, I was down $6,000 from the year before. Now if GM would release our 401K it would be nice. We will see how it goes with Celadon, the Dm they gave me says she probably won't be my DM because they have to get regional ones set up...great, and she isn't even in the office this week. This has been a cluster all around. Wait and see, wait and see!

I wasted 2 days- there were 3 times they sent me after a load that didn't exist. I understand companies make mistakes. Everyone does. But their response time to fix the mistake was terrible. I waited 4-5 hours each time for them to tell me what to do next. I keep getting excuses. "we're short on staff due to the holiday." "we don't have enough people to cover all of the new drivers." etc, etc. The excuses are wearing thin.

Has anyone checked their Estub.....I didn't get my $200.00 bucks from Glen Moore they promised me would be on this pay period from the dang deposit. All I got was the frickin $26.00 for the air cuff. They better cough that money up, and I am not waiting for another week for it!

Since pay checks are issued weekly, I believe you will be waiting another week for it.

I got my refund from Glen Moore on the last paycheck from YRC. My net was higher than my gross on that check- pretty cool! We're not going to get GM money from Celadon. All refunds owed by GM should have been on the last check they gave you. If not, I think you might be out of luck.

Talked to Payroll at GM and they told me I got it back in August of 2010. Pulled the stub for the week they say I got it and I didn't, so now I guess it will be a fight to get that back. We should get our first Celadon checks this week. Orientation and first load.....I should say we better.
