I just got the air cuff. That can't explain why I would have gotten it back in 08/2010. How are you doing with Celadon?

Yeah it sucks seeing a big line of trucks out front and only one safety lane open but there's nothing you can do about it. Oh and then if you're the next truck in line and the truck ahead of you in the safety lane needs a few trailer tires changed..whoa buddy you'll be waiting for a little bit while they do that.

It's happened to all of us...uh, you did put yourself on line 4 while you're sitting in line, right? Get in line, set brakes, log line 4, send macro 2. start filling out trip sheet. clean windows, mirrors, lights, dash, begin reading "War and Peace".

..1 hour later..finish reading "War and Peace", turn on CB hoping to reach people at the Pilot in Mount Comfort, take out menu for Great Wall Chinese and begin thinking about what to order, debate how much longer you should wait before calling for delivery.

..30 minutes later..watch courtesy van pull up to second gate and wait for guard to acknowledge their presence. Look at van full of drivers and think "Welcome to orientation!"

...30 minutes later..think about that one hot chick in orientation from GM who you really wanted to talk to but she seemed kind of unapproachable. hope she's a smoker and that you'll catch her outside some time today so you can strike up a conversation. realize you don't even know her name other than 1nonly. realize asking some stranger if her username is 1nonly is really pathetic. hide in truck while trying to figure out a better way to approach said hot chick who may or may not even be at the terminal.

...30 minutes later...get yelled at for not following mechanics directions fast enough in safety lane.

Oh and welcome to Indy. :)

    Oh..that was for future use.
But you never know, someone may have done some of those things already.

..aren't you the one with the cute pout? (according to Injun) :biggrin_25525:

I'm thinking of applying to Celedon about the 1st of March. I have 4.5yrs OTR expierence and have been working local for the last couple months but the money is just not there. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

IMO, they have a really low pay rate. With 4+ years experience you could do better than 33cpm. Quite frankly, I wonder why they ever get drivers at that rate.

Well I am ready to go outthe door,I don't wined and complain, didn't deman to go home asked if fright was slow maybe roll through the house,!aked 4 times last wee, never got a reply, but tolls,oh yea seconds you get a reply,w 1/2 weeks been here last week was my top pay of 1861the miles, sat Firday for 3Hours at delivery, then went 39 miles sat 9Firday hours at a pick up to get loaded, then was told by dispatch dention is paid after 4 hours but is paid baised if they pay the company that's not what I was told. So now I sit in Richmond Va for till probably Monday for free with no layover. Personally I feel Celadon does not respect the time of the driver. And E logs, yea Indy needs to learn to understand them better with time and stuff. Lining up jobs when I get home.
