From idea to actuality!

Now on a different note, the past few days have been really great. Wed evening and all day thursday we're spent with my boyfriends grandparents at their house in NY while we got a 34 hour reset.

Yesterday morning before we went back over to his grandparent we got a pre-plan for a load to pick up this morning going a whopping 142 miles to relay in Hazelton, PA. We saw the final was Mexico and were kinda bummed that we didn't get to take it further but we knew we were 7 days into our highlight for hometime at that point and that I have my doctors appt on Mon. which we need to be home in time for so we just were waiting around hoping they would find us something headed towards the house. After about 45 mins to an hour we got a msg on the QC.

We were told to "GO HOME"! Since we were on our 8th day (of a 7 day highlight policy) they stuck to their policy and are paying us to drive home! 702 miles + $25 northeast pay!!!

I'm so excited now
Once we get home I can actually start working on stuff other than studying again (i.e. glasses, doc appt, physical, cdl pemit application, etc...)

Only bad thing is we can't make it home in one shift so we won't make it home until tomorrow. OH WELL!!
