    Good to hear from you again Katey. You're gonna do well. Pretty decent chance I may be seeing you late March. I've got a tentative orientation date of 3/28/11. I've still got to get thru the next "Christine Phone Call" that is supposed to come this week. I spent almost two hours on the phone tonight with Roadrealtor and things are going great for him with Con-way Truckload.

    Ooooh nice :D My orientation date is set for April 4th because i graduate school friday April 1st. Glad to hear that RR is doing good. Hope all is well for you xlsdraw sorry I haven't been by your thread in a while been crazy busy!

    Would post the rest of my update but only have a few minutes then I need to lay down and try and get some sleep. Will try and update hopefully tomorrow.

    Yes, way past time!

    School kept me so busy all the time that I just keep putting it off in favor of things like sleep and meals and homework lol.

    Well the good news is I passed my CDL test (backing took 2 tries lol) and graduated Crowder yesterday! I am now sitting at the Holiday Inn in Joplin, MO waiting for orientation to begin on Monday.

    It feels great to have my CDL but the stressful part isn't over yet... Now I have to make it through orientation and training and upgrade from student to driver. Then I will breath a huge sigh of relief and begin to repay my school load from my dad, get some much needed dental work, and take care of a lot of other stuff I have been putting off due to financial limitations.

    Things are really looking up for me and I'm excited to continue on with my journey :)

    I will try and post a summary of my time at Crowder and my thoughts on the program and such but right now that will have to wait. I am headed out in to Joplin to explore and see what there is to do. It's a beautiful day out today and I'm not gonna waste it sitting around in the hotel.

    Good luck to you. So many in your situation dread the part that comes next; going out with the trainer. But that is the easy step in your journey. I hope all continues to work out well for you.

    I do believe (and Katey please correct me if I am wrong) that her boyfriend is going to train her as she is working for the same company. Certainly will still have challanges but Katey has been OTR with her BF for like 2 yrs now.
