Well things this weekend did not go how I expected....but in a good way
Chris ended up having a load passing through Joplin so I have been at th truck with him since yesterday. He has to leave soon and I have to get ready for Orientation in the morning so I am back at the hotel now.
Thank you all for your congratulations and well wishes.
Everything you said Sammy is correct. I am really thankful Chris is going to be my trainer because that is one part I was very apprehensive about before we found out he could be my trainer.
I still haven't got a chance to type up my experiences at Crowder but I will get to it eventually, just not sure when lol.
For now I'm off to grab a shower and then relax for a bit before I lay down and hopefully am able to sleep. Tomorrow is going to be another big day and I am feeling nervous yet excited.
I hope you all are doing well! Stay safe out there drivers!

Thanks Katey and as things calm down you will again have some time to post how thing have been going and are going!
Best wishes to you and keep it up girl!!! -
Well yestrday morning we were told our orientation would probably run into Friday because there was still so much left to do. By about halfway through the day they told us it was for sure now and they would be checking us back into the Holiday Inn for 1 more night. I was hoping we wouldn't have to stay another day (because I'm ready to be officially hired already and to get that much closer to being back together with Chris) but there is one good thing about it, we get an extra days worth of orientation pay!
He also said we will mostly likely be done around mid-day.
I just wanted to let you all know what is going on since I am up early and can't get back to sleep. Hope you all are doing well
Take care and drive safe!
KateySpacecoast, The Challenger, sammycat and 2 others Thank this. -
Got hired, got my POV back to KY safely, waited for Chris to get home and get a restart, and then called in today and got our preplan for tomorrow. Its a load that picks up 120 miles away at noon tomorrow but we are gonna drive there tonight and stage because it's a very tight load and if it's ready even the slightest bit early we wanna be able to take advanage of that. So that means my training officially starts tonight!!
I will try and update when I can, sorry my updates have been few and far between and the ones I have posted have been short but as I am sure alot of you can understand, I've been busy living life and getting myself prepared to start this new life.
Stay safe out there drivers,
