If you hire on at W/S you'll be trained it that short ammount of time. They run the worst mountains in the US and the worst weather is coming up, SNOW in March is the norm. I was leased to them and ran Balt to SEA w/a flatbed. At least I got away from that winter stuff. REmember to always carry a jacket, it snows year round in Colorado.

Yeah, you can learn to handle the truck and load in a month. Sorta. But even that doesn't account for the multitudinous situations you'll find in your career. Those have to just be worked out yourself, and you never quit learning.
And some guys/gals just don't have the knocks to handle changes.
Like the Werner guy who had to pull into a narrow barnyard and tried to turn around next to the owners boat...and hit it. He didn't know to refuse the owners request after he refused the move the boat. Or the guy who snagged the power lines because the pavement around a corner rose up and his clearance changed. And the list goes on.
