    You talk
You talk a lot of s### that's about all you're good for..hehe. I gave the OP sincere advice.. he shouldn't be trying chains unless he's a couple years into this business. You're the one that is out of pocket with you're ego. Move to a better area if your don't like you're options, you've got a CDL. I've been doing this Sh## 20 years and I've seen guys like you come and go with your stupid egos.. I told and gave the OP solid.advice.. You however did not do that... Because you're ego will ruin you career soon.. And maybe that's for the best.. if you'd like to talk.to.me in person, I'm off I-20, exit 406 in Texas, I'll be happy to meet you face to face..just PM me a week before you arrive roughly... I'm sure we can work out any confusion!! I'll be waiting big Boy!!!!

Translation... Aren't you guys afraid of not making your delivery time?

Nope, not in the slightest in any way.
The delivery can be rescheduled if I shut down due to weather, but it can't be if I crash and the load is lost.

JIT and the load HAS to get there on time or the factory shuts down? Too bad. The receiver should have had planned for the weather and construction and accidents and many other delaying factors if they want to run that tight of a schedule.

The fear mongering of chaining is way overblown IMO. Chain up once or twice and it’s a cakewalk after that. And a couple hours later, you’re sitting in Seattle getting unloaded and reloaded in 45 degree weather while people are packed like sardines in Montana.

I’ll take chains on Snoqualmie for safety before I’ll do Missouri when it’s 30 degrees and a wintery mix

Not judging anyone for shutting down for it, but I don’t think the chaos of traffic when the chain requirements are lifted is any safer IMO

    D.Tibbitt and kemosabi49 Thank this.
