I'm following this because my w9 doesn't have the stack of spacers under the front springs .
My truck came from factory with a 12k front spring and after I broke one I changed to 13.2 k springs .
I'm usually over 12.5 k load on front end when loaded and even a half tank of fuel .
I have always had low clearance under brackets of fuel tanks , to the level of I can't get into some steep dock pits .

I dont know. My truck sits higher in front by 6 inches. But that's the way I set it up. The one pic of your spacers looks like they are crooked. But taking the spacers out isn't going to change the ride.AModelCat Thanks this.

6" are you sure? I've never seen a frame from the factory off by more than an inch or two. IMO rear suspension are made to be mounted to a frame that is parallel to the ground. My truck is 1 1/2 higher in the rear. Pete thought it was important enough that they made a note on the spec sheet and the dealer recommended a higher block on the front springs to level the frame. Btw it was a one piece 3" block with only a tiny wedge block under to set caster. I'm not saying it"ll fix the ride issues but it needs to be addressed IMO. but it's his truck so that's his choice.

Changing the thickness or adding/removing spacers will never effect the ride quality on the steer axle. They do not cause the spring rate to change.

Yep, as I stated, that's the way I set it up. Can load more on steer when I load.

You said IMO rear suspension etc etc. Sorry but IMO isn't fact. The op needs to get the facts and work from there. He never did answer my questions on air ride cab?, just started riding rough?, etc. A KW with an aero cab and sleeper will give a killer ride if the shocks at the back of the sleeper are bad. Been there and done that. I would never have believed those two little shocks had so much to do with the cab ride.
I replaced an AG100 with an AG380 (Pete Flex-aire). To get the frame on the '93 W9 to match the way the frame sat on the donor truck ('07 W9) I had to raise the front of the the 93 about 1 1/2". That put the frame correct and all the driveshaft angles. -
So what made the frame correct then?

I apologize for my comment. I realized this morning that it was harsh poorly said. It should have been something to the effect that all the opinions made on here aren't a substitute for facts and won't point him in the right direction. Suggestions on where to look are helpful though.
Which frame? There is a relation between the suspension (front and rear), driveline angle, and angle of the transmission and rears. There is an explanation about this in a driveline troubleshooting guide by Eaton? on the internet. -

Sorry we cannot haul 20k on front by adding leaf springs when axle beam tires is rated for less , adding or removing leaf springs is bit of confusing , thanks .
