Hello folks. I am currently pricing out the rebuilding of my front and rear ends. I plan to get 2 more quotes from 2 other companies I have lined up. This is the quote I received from the first one.

What do you guys think? If you any of you know someone who can do this, feel free to make the referral. Thanks.

Bend you over dry and no reach around high! If you're even remotely close or can route yourself close to Bruceton Mills WV l would highly recommend Mel's Truck Services.

This place is in Iowa. I have NO PROBLEM going cross-country as long as it is someone that is apt and trustworthy. Money is not as important to me as getting it done RIGHT. So you think I'm getting reamed raw, huh?

I totally thought you were talking about the differentials. I just looked at the labor and total bill amount initially. My mistake. I still think Mel's does suspension work though. If they do, I'd still recommend them but they've only done my diffs so I can't say they did any suspension work for me.

So what do you think of the quote then? Is it in the ballpark of fairness?

I still think it's too high. Looks like they're padding the labor pretty good.

Yeah, there seems to be some potential overlap.

Yeah, some labor will have to be trimmed. Let's see where the other two quotes come in at.

I could knock out a rebush on a truck with Airliner in about 4-5 hours an axle. I always just gas axed the u-bolts and shock bolts since they were always seized.
