Is toyo or kuhmo good?
-
I could be wrong but the thing I don't like about the general st160 Tire or the Cooper RM 134 is that they only have four pieces of tread on the front of the tire.
I noticed that other tires have five pieces of tread. I would think that the more grooves that you have the more it would disperse water and handle better and maybe even run cooler.
Does that make sense? -
We use the Roadmaster RM 185 all position tires for our steers.
I have them on the current truck I’m driving. Installed 3 weeks ago.
Hopefully they work good as right now the truck drives so smoothly and we don’t balance them.
Our 2 Petes also has them for the past year but right now the one Pete, the passenger tire is cupping badly.
I’ve got to figure out why yet.
They will soon be peeled off and be doing trailer duties for the rest of it’s tread life. -
Suspention ,king pins you name it. -
The only set of toyos I ever bought were drives, the trash truck special lug, so it was never intended to be a long lasting tire, but held up well and I had them capped and they held up well again.

We can't get that kind of miles out of any tires here, I have seen guys run through drives in the summer, go right down to the wire in 3 to 4 months, pulling double tankers.
Tug Toy and Tx Countryboy Thank this.
