i use Rain-X deicer, comes in a pump spray bottle.

but i also soak the window channel to prevent the windows from freezing as well.

i also carry a cigarette lighter, for my cigars, and frozen locks as well.

reason why i use the Rain-X deicer, is sometimes the stream from the old fashion cans of deicer aren't good, or sometimes just do not work, and you find that out, when you really needed it.

sometimes, i would give a quick shot of the cans when i am in the store, and you find out right away whether it's a good can or not, but i have done this, and later, the can was not working.

so a pump spray for me, is better a choice.

 

At least you did not say it was God's country, he would have thrown up. Yes I have been there and it still sucks.

As for the cleanest air and water...

Come winter time I don't lock my doors.Sure there's things to unfreeze them but who wants to be outside doing that in minus zero weather
