First be prepared a refrigerator is going to run you about $500 bucks (that is for one that is meant for truck) but here are the problems..

    1) who you going to orientation with (depending on company may or may not have apu)
    2) what kind of a truck you will be assigned some of new prostars don't have a spot for one
    3) you can p/u a bar type fridge but then again most trucks don't come with inverters
    4) some companies will allow you to have an inventor installed professional others won't
    5) if you lease or going to be buying from company read contract some companies will not allow you to make alterations (installing inverter to some is making an alteration to the truck.
    6) how long you going to be with company if you're only going to stay 6 months or so then doesn't make sense (unless truck has apu and inverter in it already)

    hope this helps

McElroy lets you idle the truck so they don't have apu's was thinking as long as it is idling there would be np running frigs and electronics

Depends on the amps they pull. So you will need to ask the service manager what he thinks

Well that suck's. <shudder> cooking raw meat in a microwave? I know i can be done, but generally tastes like rubber. Somewhere along the way get yourself a George Forman (type) grill, just watch the watt's. Less than $30 and your meat will taste better.
