Hahaha.
The last qtr mile before you park put about 10-15 psi and unless you park in water you shouldn't have frozen brakes again. If you've been in freezing #### all day go knock off all the snow/ice accumulation

If this is a tractor-trailer unit, you don't have hydraulic trailer brakes. You've most likely got air disc brakes.Blue Zombie Trucker, magoo68, reeferwrencher and 2 others Thank this.

I always just lock the axles, put it in gear and drive away.
Which doesn't work so good if you don't have four-way lockers, but I've never had that problem.

I find rolling backward is more effective than rolling forward to break free when brakes are frozen.Blue Zombie Trucker, magoo68, D.Tibbitt and 3 others Thank this.

This reply saved the day. I went out and kept banging. Didn’t know about the sound difference to know when the brakes released. THANK YOUBlue Zombie Trucker, Northeast Hillbilly, stuckinthemud and 2 others Thank this.

Dont set yr brakes. Place chocks on both side of wheel. Yes, I know some ######## may steal them.

Glad something worked for you, Compared to most here, I am still in diapers. I very recently posted for the newbies to listen to these guys! In my book, many members walk on water, they are so knowledgeable. I read these forums daily, learning and picking up bits of good stuff they learned from the school of hard knocks. Its free and some of it is priceless! Stuff you can't find in a book or a class.
Thank you members that have the knowledge and help the rest of us. And thanks to many members past(Kurt and Tony and many more), I hope these members occasionally lurk here?

Try going in reverse . For some reason reverse always get mine unstuck.

Yep. People try to go forward and don't think about other ideas that usually work.
Beats the heck out of laying in the snow with a hammer for sure.
And as a last resort. There's always brake cleaner.User666, tscottme, mwhjr1988 and 1 other person Thank this.
