Frozen trucker case

Agreed, tras am were d bags, but not criminal. Thats what the judge was talking about

 

Is there any responsibly on the drivers part? If his tanks were #### near empty after only 2 and a half hours, then he was way low. Would you blame tras am if his tank gelled?

 

I wouldn't have let my tanks get that low. I would have been on the horn with dispatch asking for help finding the fueling station.

 

He could have called 911, medical emergency, trans cant tag him out for that

 

Basically this was a comedy of errors, on both trans am and the driver. End of the day, they both made many poor choices. None of which were illegal

I dont, far as i can see he read what the law said. There is no exception for breaking company policy, if he had slured speach, and losing feeling, call 911. If you want to play the bad choice game, he basically drove drunk
